Sunday sousaphone

A busy worky weekend kinda day.

We all went to Tollcross Swimming Pool today; hubby and the boys to go swimming and me to attend a gathering of the opening and closing cast members of the Commonwealth Games. It was a great event with lots of energy and imagination. Helped along by some great sousaphone playing from this guy and his fellow Brass Aye! members.

Home to eat and then out to a pop-up migration museum at the Glad Cafe. It was 'an artistic interrogation of colonial and post-colonial migration in Scotland'. Fancy, eh! Not sure my boys enjoyed it so much, but I'm sure they'll look back fondly on the wee trips I take them on (one day).
