Duthie Park

Lovely walk through Duthie Park today with Andrew.
So much going on it was pretty surreal.
Everything was quite normal to begin with apart from the notice outside the park warning people that there'd be zombies about on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
We had a wee walk round and climbed up to the flagpole. At the top we noticed something quite strange. It was a couple walking their two little dogs, nothing odd about that... apart from the little pink padded jackets with tutus attached! Yes that's right, these two wee dogs were wearing PINK TUTUS! Very odd.
So after we dealt with seeing the dressed up dogs we proceeded towards the glass houses. A surprisingly tepid affair with an awful talking cactus. Very strange. However, a nice surprise was the brass band that had set up and were playing some band tunes. No idea what they were but I felt the desire to march.
We thought that that may be the end of the adventure. One last thing remained to be seen...
On leaving the park we noticed 4 police in an unmarked car in the car park. Just waiting. Then as we walked away another police car passed us driving towards the park. Then a few seconds later another unmarked police car drove past us towards the park.
What did it mean? What was going on? Who was getting lifted?
Perhaps the couple with the dressed up dogs - for crimes against fashion.

On the bus now back to Glasgow after a lovely weekend with Andrew.
