Stowe Christmas Fair
Despite the clocks going back I slept til 8.30 (9.30 in old money) and then got up for a nice croissant breakfast with my guests. After brekkie, L and P took Lottie out and J, J and I played a round of Cluedo, which none of us won. Result. Because I hate losing!
Then we went to The Red Lion in Evenley near Brackley for a very nice Sunday lunch, though they were rather slow and it was a bit pricey in my opinion. Then P and I toddled off to Stowe to the annual Christmas Fair, which I do like to go to every other year or so. We were quite late arriving and it was great as most people had left already so we were able to whizz around quickly then go round more slowly to the stalls we had earmarked. I managed to find some lovely Christmas pressies and a few bits for myself so I'm a happy bunny. My blip is of the gorgeous ceiling in the oval room in Stowe House.
When we got home, we had some nice chill out time in front of the fire then a relaxing buffet style dinner, then more chat and Turkish Delight by the fire, swapping photos and a bit of communal XFactor with a nice Frangelico liqueur on the sofa. Very decadent. Very autumnal with the roaring fire. Lottie's loving it. What a lovely weekend.
