Foaming...

I had to go down to the Causeway one final time before heading home - this time battling against the wind at around 7am.

Three things made this shot tricky:
1) Trying to get my tripod set up in a stable and level fashion.
2) The wind/spray
3) The HUGE amounts of foam the sea was throwing out. Suffice to say, no-one had told the sea that the clocks had gone back an hour, so the tide was very high.

I really liked the strong zig-zag of the rocks and I deliberately composed this as a portrait shot. It was always going to be converted into mono! I was torn between this shot and this one of ghost rocks.
