Gruffalo!!

C&T waiting for the Gruffalo live show to start this afternoon at the Corn Exchange. We had a lovely time and as it was C's first proper time in a theatre we weren't sure how it would go down. C enjoyed it a lot but mainly the parts when the Gruffalo was actually on stage! And enjoyed shouting out 'Grufffalo crumble'. How lovely to see his little face so excited! He managed the whole first 20 mins without wriggling and then he did start squirming around a bit but all in all he did really well. Think we might give the rather longer pantomime a miss for another year though, until he's 4!

We came home and then headed over to our neighbours for a special fireworks and tea party. It was lovely, great fun and such a treat. C loved playing with Ola & Suzie and we all tucked into hotdogs, wedges and cake! The fireworks were loud and sparkly - the two littlest ones headed inside to watch through the window after about 15 mins - great evening :-)
