Warm winds blowing me home

This photo is evidence of the spent end of a hurricane that originated on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. We were expecting something with more force but I guess it had dissipated quite a bit by the time it arrived on the east coast of Scotland. I could feel the mildness in the air though making it unseasonably warm for this time of year. It's kind of funny to think that I am feeling wind on my face that only a few days ago was thousands of miles away.
Now it's time for a cosy night in with a delicious meal and a lovely glass of wine...or two, the wind can stay outside.
