Crafty

Great craft fair held over the weekend where local artisans displayed and sold a range of lovely handmade items. There was the usual pottery, glass jewellery and carpenters as well as handbags and scarves made from recycled kimono.

This guy was my favourite; he makes traditional Japanese indoor slippers by re using old yukatas (casual summer kimono made of cotton.) Comfy and washable they were great and for some reason I qualified for friendship discount! I may have made a few Christmas purchases for my small footed friends!

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.
