Bird watching

We have fantastic views over the bay from our holiday cottage, which is helpful when trying to spot wildlife and birds.

It was a lazy start to the day. Daddy went for a long walk with Fudge while me and the boys pottered around and played with Lego.

After lunch we went for a brisk and bracing walk along the beach at Beadnell. We found a couple of small crabs, fell in a rock pool or two and saw lots of dogs and a horse enjoying the lovely beach.

We stopped at Seahouses on the way back to the cottage. Had a wander around, realised the Co Op closes at 4pm on a Sunday (!) and bought a giant bag of chips which we all shared on a park bench.

Later this evening Lucy and Stephen arrived directly from their holiday in Kippford. Unfortunately Abigail is back in hospital so Lucy is going to stay here with us for a few days. Kerr is delighted to have his cousin here.
