A small milestone...
Today I took Adam to Kingston where he wrote the DSA Theory Test which he thankfully passed, and he was so delighted to get that step out of the way that he wanted to burn the theory book! (He didn't of course, I would never allow a book to be burned). Now I have booked his practical test for the Christmas school holidays, no time during term to get that done any earlier.
We did a bit of clothes shopping - for him and Thomas (who is growing like a weed at the moment and his trousers are all too short) - and then came home via Waitrose where ' I am just popping in for some essentials' turned out to be five grocery bags later. They don't stop eating so it was all essentials.
And Gavin is about to leave for Australia again - after having a dial in conference call with the Australian office last night from 10pm to 12.20am, and then another meeting from 3.30am to 6am...then he went out for a run and left home for the office at 7.15am for a normal day's work, so he will be very tired tonight - and he has two nights on the plane to look forward to as he arrives in Sydney on Wednesday morning as it is just so far away.
