Heath village
Back blip 23 Oct.
MrC's birthday today. ( not quite the big one yet!)
Request to go to the Kings Arms in Heath village, Nr Wakefield, for lunch.
So after a walk round this very unusual village, we had steak and ale pie, chips and mushy peas at said pub.
Huge portions! No room for pudding !
He had two pints of the Ossett Brewery Kings Arms beer. Birthday treat!
I drove home!
Collage shows the gates to the Old Hall which is now just a bit of a ruin.
The New Old Hall.
Village green.
One of the small rooms in the pub, which is still partly lit by gas light.
