Great Spotted Woodpecker

I spent a lovely few hours this afternoon sitting in a hide at my local (private) nature reserve

There have been a few sightings of the Sparrow Hawk recently and although I saw it fly by it didnt settle long enough for me to grab an image.

Had to make do with this woodpecker instead :)
