Cross Country

The girl in the center won the race with a time of 18:55.8.
So it was my bright idea to get photos of her at the first mile mark, and then the second mile mark.
The second was at the top of a very steep hill/mountain.
I barely beat her to the top (despite the fact that her route was much longer than my short cut).
And then once I got to the top and she ran by me I realized I had to beat her back to the finish to get photos.

I took HUGE short cuts and probably beat her back by a mere 30 seconds.
Phew.
