Winkworth Arboretum

A "Departmental Outing" today with U&L and Debs to Winkworth Arboretum, a property of the National Trust that lies south of Godalming in Surrey.

This scene is looking from the field and across the lake to the steep slopes on the other side. The scene looks tranquil, but tranquil it most definately was not as it was extremely busy! The car park was pretty full as well as the somewhat limited refreshment facilities! I haven't been here for a very long time and it was well worth doing the walk we did and there was plenty to see along the way.
