Stems

Flowers are beautiful, and a branch of photography all to themselves. Leaves too, have their place in the world of photography, but apart from trees, which have their own devotees, stalks are usually forgotten or taken for granted. I was rather taken with the colours and shapes of the stems of this pretty cyclamen plant.
