Workers of the world
Spent a few hours at the Black Country Museum. A fantastic place to visit, and they serve the best fish and chips. The museum brings home the hard lives of our ancestors and their struggles to get a decent wage and standard of living. The banner in the photo brings home the message that although times have changed there is still a need for strong unions to represent those in poorly paid jobs, those who are exploited and those who seek equality. Especially in these times where governments and employers have forgotten that they have a social duty to the community.
