Butterfly In The Blue

I've never seen such an immaculate blue sky at the end of October!!
No wonder the butterflies were around, sunbathing :-) I would have been too if it hadn't been necessary to help lay the base of our old greenhouse we brought with us. We knew it was going to be a long and difficult job but the weather was just so perfect that we made good progress.


This was the best of many shots I took of this red admiral, I'm not sure what he was getting from the old ivy flowers but when the breeze became very strong it didn't move him so I guess there was something yummy there for him ;-)
