The pool

When it gets too hot it's time to cool off and there's only one way to do that when you're on holiday ... hit the pool!

"I stood upon the starting block,
My Ma and Pa were proud;
When I dove in I belly flopped,
It hurt and was quite loud.

My goggles slipped into my mouth,
I couldn't breathe at all;
I choked and couldn't see a thing
And crashed into the wall.

The people roared when I climbed out
Just after I was done,
And they were pointing right at me-
I thought I must have won;

But when I bent to take a bow
The air felt strangely cool,
And I was awfully shocked to see
My swim suit in the pool!"
