Food for the soul

It's been dull, wet and miserable since we came home so I thought I'd rustle up a nice fresh pomegranate salad to cheer us all up and remind us of our lovely holiday. My top tip for getting the seeds out of the pomegranate ... whack it with a spoon!

"Overhead! look overhead!
‘Mong the blossoms white and red—
Look up, look up! I flutter now
On this fresh pomegranate bough.
See me! ’tis this silvery bill
Ever cures the good man’s ill."

(John Keats - from Faery Songs)
