on another day - when i'm under - the weather, not feeling well at all - the weather - itself, is overcast - cloudy, windy with temps dropping - i wasn't able to - venture far or wide - however - as i stood - wondering what i was - going to do - i noticed a slight wavering - of color - in the breeze - i thought "there's no way" - but went to investigate - there, underneath a small bush - and some debris - was this tiny, broken pink ikat flower - waiting - just for me - on this day - when i am unable - to make it far - due to illness - to search out my beloved pink - it would seem - my beloved pink - has once again, come to me - now that's what makes for...
