Lankey Creek Track, Reefton

We spent a super weekend on the West Coast, based in Reefton.

One activity was walking the Lankey Stream Track, through predominantly beech forest, with a beautiful understorey of ferns.

An eerie reminder of the area's history was the sight of the entrance to the abandoned Bolitho Gold Mine, here and here.
