Celebrating the birthday boy

Today, after church, we went 'up the river' to our Grandsons home to celebrate his birthday. Here you will see him with his four kids. We had a very nice day with the family, lots of good food, then cake and ice cream and more visiting. It was very much enjoyed. The day before we had quite a storm and they had been out of electricity all day Saturday until later in the afternoon on Sunday. Still they were gracious and had us out. They had a generator so could use appliances in the kitchen.

It was a very nice day. On the way home we enjoyed all the fall colors and it made for a very nice drive.
