The force of life.

The force of life,the will to live,the tenacity of nature,the survival instinct.....call it what you will but I am constantly amazed at how determined and successful life is at surviving against the odds. On this brown metallic road sign the letters of the name were made by affixing a sticky tape.....at the ridge formed at the edges of the tape enough moisture gathers to harbour lichen spores ,add in a bit of warmth and hey presto we have life...a thriving lichen. Fantastic.
