Oh my goodness, this was so good! Good job I didn't eat anything else yesterday after this, as it was in place of dinner!

Felt a little tired getting up after only 5 hours sleep, but even with the extra hour, I still had to get up early-ish. I have a dance competition this afternoon- it might be my last one for a while.

I whizzed to Sainsbury's for a few bits- in and out in 25 minutes :-)

Dance competition didn't go so great. My apathy didn't go unnoticed either. I could not be bothered to gel my hair, so left it. I did my normal make up rather than dancing make up, only did the team match and not the supporting comps etc. From the second I arrived I realised I didn't really want to do this. I feel further behind everyone else, and not as good, even though I know that's not the case. The idea was to see if I wanted to carry on or not after today. Dancing wise, the Ballroom went quite well. We did a Foxtrot and Tango, and they weren't too bad. Rumba we missed out a bit, but it wasn't bad. Samba was the one I was most worried about as it's so fast, and if you miss a step it's hard to get back on it. It wasn't a disaster so that was good. After it was done I peeled out of there, and drove home in the dusk.

I went to gym in the evening, but it wasn't a great session. We tired P-Bars, which is a lot harder than it looks, and I slipped when I got tired and bruised my arm. The giants felt sluggish to start with, and I struggled to get over more than once, and bent my elbow which frightened me. (When swinging one's whole body over a metal bar there is one rule which must never be broken- Don't bend your arms!). I gave up after three attempts, and went back to regular bars, and ended up giving my shin a nice whack as I tried to do my squat on. Hurt so bad!

Always know when to walk away.....I took myself home after a bit of conditioning. Hoping Tuesday's session will go better when I'll be less tired. On the plus side, I can have a lie-in tomorrow :-)
