Anemone Hupehensis

After the gales and torrential rain I was surprised to find a number of these Japanese anemones still flourishing in the walled garden in Kings Park. By the time we had played our game of badminton, had a coffee and collected the dogs the rain had stopped but the ground was saturated with extensive flooding in places. Things are looking better now with some sun and a watery blue sky.
