Synagogue for sale.

Blip from outing yesterday. Went to Post office this a.m. and it had started to rain. Just managed to get indoors before the skies opened. Torrential rain and wind most of the afternoon. There are plenty of mid Victorian buildings in Blackpool and a lot of large several storied and quite opulent houses. The mill owners from Victorian era built these houses for their families to take advantage of the sea air. Subsequently they were turned into boarding houses and hotels but the architecture is still there to see. A very grand Salvation Army building is just around the corner from this synagogue and is still in use.
