Larda Palpuogna

Up at Larda Palpuogna the winter is already in full swing; the lake is mainly frozen with only the area around the inlet stream still clear water. Our walk around its shores was in deep, frozen snow and aching silence. The views of the mountains in the early, evening sunlight were just stunning and well worth the effort.
