I'm just a lonely boy!

I spent all morning doing exciting boring wifey chores, while J did some road work on his board such hard work Just before lunch , our next door neighbour, who is nearly 80, called us with some home made scones he had just made. He was a cook in the RAF many years ago, and since his wife passed away, does some cooking to pass the time. He phones me quite a few times during the week, to open the back door, and he gives us some of the goodies he has made. He is a gem, and we are very lucky to have him as a neighbour. I have to say that we do look after him in other ways, so it's reciprocated. The scones were delicious with a cup of coffee for our lunch. This afternoon ,we decided to go for a drive, to look for a blip. We went up the valleys to Blaengarw, and i took a photo of this horse looking very sad and lonely.I wonder what he was thinking? It got dark very early tonight,so it's time to pull the curtains, and stay cosy and warm.
