Duvet days

Today was my equivalent of a duvet day… Another day off from the moors. And this little tree sparrow was clearly demonstrating its approval.

The three of us went to the RSPB site at Fairburn Ings today to have a wander around the reserve.  The lakes were a little sparse, or at least the birds were a touch far away for our liking.  

Our favourite spot was back at the visitor centre with a cup of coffee on the balcony watching the tree sparrows adding feathers to their roosting sites.  

The surprise visit of ratty nailed it.
