One of the 384 carved stone heads on the sides of the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge across the River Seine in Paris. The building of the bridge began in 1578.
In contrast to the glorious weather of yesterday, today started with mist and drizzle and heavy cloud remained with us all day. So a good day to photograph carved stone 'grotesques'.
