Dark, Wet and Windy

Walked on Earl Crag, Cowling today - wrong decision .
It turned out very wet and very windy.
This is Wainman's Pinnacle, built on a solid rock outcrop, it is also known as Cowling Pinnacle.
It was built in 1816 by Richard Wainman to commemorate victory at the battle of Waterloo the previous year (in which his son was killed).
It looked rather different when I last visited it in June.

It doesn't improve when viewed 'L'arge :-(
