I suppose I should have used this yesterday, in mono, for the Monday challenge but that wouldn't have shown the beautiful colour of this walnut gun stock. Another piece of family history, it belonged to my father and is part of an air rifle which from its serial number was made in March or April 1906 by a Birmingham gunsmith, Lincoln Jeffries, in collaboration with BSA .
