West Pentire to Holywell Bay

It was lovely and sunny this morning so off we went for a walk on the North Cornwall Coast with our friend, Angela.

Walked from West Pentire across the fields & dunes to Holywell Bay and then walked back along the coastal path.

I was full of beans and very happy & bouncy today. I rolled around on my back, I did loads of running, I went swimming in the sea and wallowing in little streams.

After two and a half hours we arrived back at West Pentire just as it started to rain. Ann said, 'Molly haven't we had a lovely walk and now we're going to have lunch at the 'Bowgie Inn'. Haven't we been lucky with the weather?'

.................But then, do you know what happened?................ We were just about to go into the 'Bowgie Inn' and I was looking forward to getting a few little titbits, when Ann spotted a sign on the door that said no dogs were allowed??!!!

I was well angry about that. The place is huge, it has separate areas where children aren't allowed so why doesn't it have a dog friendly area. OK, I know if it hadn't been raining I could sit outside but it was raining.......................

.....................So I had to sit in the car & wait while Ann & Angela had a yummy lunch and they didn't even save any little titbits for me. Just how mean was that???
