Reflections

Today was our last full day as a group - after breakfast we went for a saunter from our hotel, and then drove to the airport to drop people off, making a few bird-watching stops on the way of course. The weather was finally looking up today! You may or may not notice a lack of bird photos over the past week considering the nature of the holiday, but I realised very quickly that taking any half-decent shots would be very difficult and that often it's much more satisfying just to watch through bino's or a scope!

This evening my lovely boyfriend treated me to Tosca in the beautiful Opera House (opera was a first for us both!) and a meal in a very nice restaurant. Lucky girl!!
