A little bit of history

At networking events I always seem to end up talking to a lawyer. Each time I have that awkward moment in my head, do I tell them or don't I but usually I end up coming out with it "I used to be a lawyer".

Today was no exception. So the usual conversation - where did you work? Big name law firm. Where did you study? Aberdeen...me too. I spent a year in France...me too. Where? Clermont Ferrand.

Now usually when I say Clermont Ferrand I get a blank stare but today I shared a lovely moment of remembering all the good times from my year abroad. So the photo, just because I was passing it in Edinburgh (and I wasn't in Clermont), is said big name law firm.
