Apparition

Walking down the steps, I and several other workaday citizens
had this strange feeling
a very, peculiar realization as our feet slowed to a halt

This was NOT here one day ago!

Then, I and several others took out cameras and smartphones
and began snapping away!

(we suspect that the artist is hiding out in a van on the side street)
