Tors

Found our way across the stream and the marshland to climb up to the tors behind the cottage today. It was pretty special for mid-October today.

We followed the tramway, still clearly visible across the hillside. Cut out of stone, with stone points for changing direction, the scale of the effort involved in creating industrial connections across the hill side was impressive.

They did graft for a living in the old days, didn't they?
