Glasgow University

Today I cycled from Westerton to Spiers Wharf in the heart of the city along the canal path. It was a cold but beautiful autumnal afternoon. This view from Maryhill near Partick Thistle's Football Ground looking westwards, gives a superb perspective over to the Univerity with its distinctive spire on Gilmorehill. I'm pretty sure the church on the left of the picture is St Mary's - the Cathedral of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
