Poppies in the Tower of London

Not a good week to be spending time in London as it is half-term and hundreds of others + kids are out enjoying life in the Capital!
However, did make an effort today to go and see those wonderful poppies - really brings it home to one just how many thousands of lives were destroyed in the war. Heart wrenching to know that wars still go on taking lives. destroying communities and maiming young men and women.
Wonderful couple of days and the weather was kind. Can no believe it is almost November and we were wandering around without jackets on. Life is good!
