whirlygigs
Took this peach of a shot when I brought some milkshakes and coffee up to my Godfather at the polling booths while he's working as a pollster today. (Glad I voted last week..)
He was at the municipal airport and I saw some choppers landing as I drove up (Huzzah!) so I asked them if they'd let me head out and take pictures of them.
Apparently they've just flown in from Iraq and are headed to Montana (?). The guy that escorted me outside was from Montana at least.. I think he said they were all headed home, but he may have just been referring to the helicopters arriving stateside from the desert. The airport was overrun with soldiers - it was pretty exciting to see all of the helicopters outside. I felt like I was going to be blown over by the force of the winds and the blades.
There must have been 40 of them or something out there on the tarmac.
It is the most beautiful day today. I celebrated a genetics test well-taken this morning with some wonderfully dark Scharffen Berger chocolate and a couple of episodes of Mad Men. Currently on season 3. It's really affected me. I need to write about it elsewhere for my own personal thoughts...
Enjoy the sun and the easy, breezy 60 degrees-y.
I'm sipping on a wonderful bourbon and soda with italian cherries - my new favorite drink (not more favorite than the blackberry mojito from bar annie, bee tee double u). My grammar is starting to deteriorate. Cue exit.

Tomorrow, I'm committing to printing out some of my photos from the last year or so..
here's what I'm thinking so far...
Dear Future
Cheeky Little Mermaid
Neches Electric Co.
Take Flight
New York Store
Occhi Blu
Je t'aime plus qu'hier moins que demain
Papa Bear
...
I think that's all for now. That bourbon has kicked in and I'm gonna lie down.
