Lucerne

After a relaxing weekend last weekend I was ready to go exploring again. Today I went to Lucerne and finally got to see some mountains!

I've been trying various combinations of DIY/guided tours on my trips. My favourite kind is definitely self guided audio tour but the walking tour I signed up for this morning helped me get my bearings and I even got local advice on where to go for lunch. I enjoyed a Chügelipastete - Lucerne's local puff pastry pie full of veal, meatballs, mushrooms and apple.

Here is "Switzerland's most photographed attraction", the chapel bridge, with mount Pilitus behind it - where Pilate is buried (apparently).
