Blackpool Illuminations.

We drove up to Blackpool today with Miss V, Miss T and her friend, the girls went swimming in the famous sandcastle pool in the afternoon. They sampled all the slides, flames and lazy river rides. Voted excellent I think!

Then it was a fish and chip supper at an award winning cafe before joining the traffic line to view the Blackpool Illuminations! A very nice display but the slow moving traffic made it less than exciting for all but the 3 year old amongst us who lapped up the magic of the lights!
Made us realise how quiet Guernsey is and just how many people there are in the world!
