Committee papers

An evening of reading committee papers.

Years ago I used to cart large bundles of paper home. These most usually related to committees and could easily run to 250 pages a meeting.

Things changed a while back when I moved first to a laptop and then to an IPad. Both these developments seem so long ago that I'd almost forgotten the ritual of trying to remember to pack the papers in my bag prior to leaving the office, then marking them up, usually on the sofa, with a pink highlighter pen.

Now I download them quickly and mark them up electronically, saving huge amounts of paper in the process.

The only downside is sometimes the thing needs to be updated...
