Awake
Awake. I went to a sleep and relaxation workshop yesterday and it was actually quite useful and exceeded my expectations. To be fair my expectations were extremely low as other similar workshops I have been to have been a complete and utter waste of time. But this was ok.
The best thing was a recommendation for 2 free smartphone apps.
Twilight - which I already use, which dims and changes the type of light given off by your phone or ipad to help you feel more sleepy and not prevent sleep.
Sleep time - which runs sitting on the edge of your bed while you are asleep and works out by your wriggling when you are in each phase of sleep and plots it. I used it last night and it was very interesting. It wakes you up at the optimum time when you are not in deep sleep.
Strangely I had the best nights sleep I have had for months. I woke up feeling much more refreshed than I normally do.
I got up and went for a walk with Missey and sorted lots of things out. I then went shopping with my friend to Ashbourne which I enjoyed.
We shall see if last night's restorative sleep was a one off....
