Colorado Grasslands

There are lots of mountains in Colorado, but there are also lots of grasslands. Mountains are so majestic and beautiful. But grasslands seems so mundane by comparison. Yet, when you take time to walk through grasslands - such as the high plains of Colorado, you will see innumerable species of flora and fauna. There is such a quiet beauty as the wind glides across the grasses, as the hawk soars above looking for its prey.

So, as a slight departure from my usual sunsets and the mountains, I thought I would blip the grasslands.

The guys left in the truck today. It was a beautiful day, so they had wonderful weather west. Meanwhile I cleaned all of the leaves from the property. This is a big lot with lots of big trees, so I spent the entire afternoon with the blower, broom and snow shovel collecting and disposing of the leaves. Why a blower, broom and snow shovel? These were all that was left in the garage. It all worked well, however.
