Out thunk
He said, do you want a photo?
Yes, please.
Like this? (putting hood up over head)
Ummm.. (thinking, not really, but either you're playing with what you think I want, or you're choosing how you want to look, which is perfectly fine: or maybe you're shyer than I thought)
No Facebook though, okay?
Today's NY Times brought some of the most powerful collaging I've seen: the topic is awfully hard. the Lens Blog often has quite interesting stuff. But do tell, where do you go to discover new photographers?
Feeling impatient with my photography, now that I'm done with the chapter and not obsessed with the Arab Spring. I don't spend enough time on it, admittedly. Craeg wrote of meeting Duane Michals, who always has pushed the envelope of photography, dissatisfied by what it doesn't say (imagine how different it would be if we couldn't add text on Blip). Still, sometimes I feel a bit out of sorts with how different portraits are from the sense of someone you are trying to portray. But maybe that's not who they are, or would want to be portrayed?
