Under the Sea

Spent the morning helping with our church's half-term holiday club - 144 kids at the last count. The theme is "Under the Sea", based around the story of Jonah in the Bible, with the motto, "Nowhere too far" (that God can't help you).

I was terribly impressed with the way they've created an underwater feel to our buildings - not captured it all here - even the ceiling is constantly covered in projections of moving water. Such a great atmosphere, and the kids were obviously really enjoying themselves. There are two clowns, one in a wetsuit, and lots of water-based fun and crafts.

For the next two mornings, I'll be filming the proceedings, as our main guy has hurt his back, and the kids get a 2-3 minute review of the previous day's proceedings each day.
