KEEP OUT!

We took a stroll through the network of back alleys behind our house and blipped this a street or two away. It's far from unique along the top of the old walls around here - that and razor wire! If you look large you may just spot a bonus insect sitting on top of the rightmost shard of glass. I only saw it when I looked on the big screen.

There has been work going on for months to widen and resurface some of the alleys prior to bringing in parking restrictions on one of the main roads. At the moment (literally) they're digging up the alley right outside our back gate, and we keep hoping they'll accidentally knock over our rickety and crumbling back wall so that we can demand they rebuild it. We watched for a few minutes and were quite encouraged that they seemed to have a novice operating the digger, but we haven't heard the sound of tumbling bricks yet. :-(
