Glen Strathfarrar

What a beautiful afternoon, it wasn't hot, but it wasn't cold either. So today we travelled out to Glen Strathfarrar. This Glen leads from Struy by Beauly 17 miles all the way to Mona Estate which is 700 ft above sea level. The scenery is stunning and especially today as there was no wind and the lochs were like a mirror, so very calm. This has been reported this year as the most beautiful Glens in Scotland and I certainly wouldn't disagree with that. So this is a picture of one of the Lochs with perfect calm water showing the mountains of Wester Ross in the background.
