Hens

I went to photograph something in the small campus garden today, and discovered that the team have put up a temporary enclosure to encourage the hens to clear the undergrowth prior to them landscaping an extension to the garden. What a wonderfully efficient scheme! (The hens are part of a campus 'enterprise' project and one of the student groups sells the eggs to staff and students.) So we now have an eggs social enterprise, a ground-clearing scheme, and a gardening/landscaping project all in the one location. How's that for 'sustainable development'?
