Boy Racer

Another drab grey day and the early nights are prompting me to become a bit more experimental, so this evening I have had a little go at painting with light. My Mum and Dad bought me this mug while they were on holiday at the same time as my first ever trip to Le Mans for the 24 Hour sportscar race. Given my passion for motorsport it seemed an apt present.

The voting and judging has finished in the Photocrowd competition and my picture of Ribblehead viaduct was Commended by the judge and came 7th out of 549 images in the crowd vote and my other image finished 47th in the crowd voting. I'm really pleased with this result as it is the first time I have actually entered images into a competition, and I will now certainly enter more competitions after this encouraging start.
